Units/Scouts & Raiders Monument Park
On May 30, 2024, the Naval Combat Demolition Units/Scouts and Raiders Monument Park was dedicated in Normandy. The Monument is significant, as it is the first of its kind to commemorate the deeds of the Naval Combat Demolition Units (NCDU)and Scouts and Raiders (S&Rs) at Omaha Beach, where they took extremely heavy casualties on D-Day.
